MAST STEPPER

This system has a gin pole that rests on a foot attached to the trailer. It is the easiest to use of any of the mast stepping aids that are available. The mast is stabilized by tying a trap wire on each side to the front cross bar. Attach the trailer’s winch to the forestay and hoist away. Utilizes bridles to stabilize the gin pole while hoisting the mast.

All Mast Steppers do require that you boat has trapeze gear, since the trapeze wires are used to keep the mast centered over the boat while raising. If your trailer doesn’t have a winch, you may purchase HC 3153 separately.
